Where To Eat: Brighton - The Creperie
When it comes to finding nice places to eat in Brighton it is hardly a struggle, The Creperie is one of Brighton's little gems that still feels somewhat undiscovered...
Nestled right along the coastline near the iconic Pier it is in the perfect setting when you are in the mood for a seaside snack, whether you are after something sweet or savoury this is the place to be. The menu was created by Karen Samuel and is packed with mouth watering delights like sweet crepes, waffles with chocolate and fruit, there is also a wide range of gelato and sorbet and some seriously delicious savoury dishes like the Mediterranean crepe filled with roasted vegetables including courgette, aubergines and peppers. On my most recent visit I chose the 'Soft and Mallow' sweet crepe - a freshly made soft crepe filled with white chocolate and baby marshmallows that had melted and turned into a truly tasty gooey mess - definitely one I recommend!
The décor is also one of the reasons it is one of my favourite places in Brighton, it is a classic mix of French and English, filled with vintage enamel wear and cookery books filling the shelves behind the seating area.
Next time your visiting Brighton go and check out The Creperie, you won't be disappointed!

The London Diaries
There is still lots of photographs to share with you all from my recent trip to London, we fitted so much into our two days away, including checking out Portobello Market, Harrods and eating a lot of food! We also went to the Notting Hill carnival, Covent Garden, and Brick Lane. Click on the links to see my blog posts on these places.

Markets
The thing I love about going to a good market is that it is a great way of
experiencing the culture of the country in one place, take the typical British
market for example, there is the Bric a’ Brac, Cockney slang in every direction,
homemade jams and chutneys, and about anything art and crafty. The same can be
said for Spanish markets, there is olives galore, breads, sandals, jewellery and
plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Whilst in Spain we visited our local market to pick up a few souvenirs for our families, I think I got slightly sidetracked by all the lovely Turquoise jewellery so ended up with only one gift..
The Spanish produce on offer looked amazing, there were huge bits of meat hanging up everywhere, lots of different fruit stands, we bought a watermelon which was very refreshing!
Shopping in the heat is pretty hard work though so we spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach enjoying the sunshine!

Paris Part Deux
I have so many pictures from my honeymoon! One of
the best parts about the Latin Quarter where we stayed was the local cinema, it
was tiny! It had a little ticket booth outside, it really was like something out
of a movie! Not at all like most cinemas today, I mean it probably only had
about 20 seats and with a name like Le Desperado how could we not spend almost
every evening there!
Le Desperado were having a Alfred Hitchcock week
during our stay, all the movies were played in English with French subtitles
which was great, The first night we watched ‘ The Man Who Knew too Much’ – 1934.
It was really tense! The next night we went they were showing ‘Notorious’ -1946
with the ever so handsome Cary Grant. On our last night in Paris we watched Psycho!! Definitely wasn’t scared to shower after that;)

Paris
Earlier
this year I went to Paris for my Honeymoon. We had sun, snow and a
little rain but nothing could have dampened our spirits! We stayed for
six nights in a lovely boutique hotel right in the centre of Paris by
the Notre-Dame called Hotel Atmospheres, it was so romantic. We wanted
to fit lots in to our holiday so we busied ourselves with lots of art
galleries, stunning scenery and adorable shops with all kinds of
Parisian treats (yes, we ate ALOT of macaroons!)
We
ate alot of everything for that matter, French food is gorgeous! My
favourite moment had to be an evening boat ride along the river Seine,
watching the sun go down with the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. Here are
a few of our photos, Enjoy!
